Paul Niles, PA-C is a native to Northwest Iowa and has practiced at the Akron Clinic since 2009. He graduated from Morningside College and obtained his Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of South Dakota. Paul is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Iowa Physician Assistant Society and the Society of Air Force Physician Assistants. In 2018, he was awarded the Mercy Golden Heart Award which recognizes medical providers for their efforts in compassionate and excellent patient care.
Paul is an Officer serving as a Physician Assistant in the Iowa Air National Guard 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City, Iowa. He was awarded with the Air Force Commendation medal in 2019 for his efforts as the Medical Officer in Charge during an Innovative Readiness Training in Puerto Rico and again in 2021 for his COVID vaccine efforts at the 185th. Paul is an Associate Clinical Professor through the University of South Dakota Physician Assistant Studies Program as well.
In his spare time, he is a youth group mentor at St. Joseph Catholic Church, BSA Assistant Troop Master for Troop 87, member of the Akron Lion's Club, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Paul and his wife, Jessica, have been married since 2000 and are proud parents of Jordan, Caleb, Chloe, Alexis, Addilyn and Gabriella.
