Your care comes first at Hawarden Regional Healthcare. It sounds simple, but it involves a lot: patient comfort, healthcare resources, attentive care, and open communication. When medical circumstances arise that require inpatient treatment, Hawarden Regional Healthcare strives to provide a complete caring environment.
What to Expect in the Hospital
For some, the hospital can be a scary place. Hawarden Regional Healthcare strives to make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible so you can focus on healing. Upon check-in you’ll receive a hospitality packet containing answers to many of your important questions. If the information isn’t found there, please ask one of our courteous staff and they will be glad to assist you or seek out the answer.
Doctors visit at various times each day. Ask your physician when you might expect to see him or her. Between physician visits, Hawarden Regional Healthcare’s nurses will help with meals, medication, bathing, and dental hygiene, as needed. You will also have a call light within your reach and in the bathroom for calling your nurse.
If at the end of your stay you receive a patient survey. Please fill it out and return it to us so we can continue to improve patient care at Hawarden Regional Healthcare.
