LABORATORY SERVICES

Hawarden Regional Healthcare is committed to providing high quality service to our customers by ensuring accurate and timely results with professional and friendly service close to home.

Registration

No appointment is necessary but please register at the front desk when you arrive.  Our hours for outpatients are from 7:30am-4:30pm Monday – Friday unless otherwise arranged with the lab staff.  Saturday appointments must be made ahead of time with the lab.

Physician Orders

All tests require an order from your provider, except DOT testing.  Please bring copies of any written orders or have them faxed to the lab at 712-551-3437.

Your Results

All test results are given to your provider to share with you and help explain the results.  Laboratory staff does not know your history or situation well enough to answer your questions accurately.

Wellness Screenings

All annual wellness screenings will be advertised in the local paper or at your place of employment.

DOT & Pre-employment urine drug screens and Alcohol screens

All drug and alcohol screens are by appointment only.  Please call 712-551-3120 to schedule.

Accreditations

Hawarden Regional Healthcare is accredited and certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB).  We have a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) Certificate of Accreditation.
