Meet the Board
Matt Hummel currently serves as Board President on the HRH Board of Directors. Matt is actively involved in the community and is on the Methodist Church Administrative Board as well a member of the golf board. Matt is the owner and a pharmacist at Booth Drug.
Matt and his wife Dawn are life-long residents of Hawarden. In his free time, Matt enjoys golfing, fishing, and hunting.

Stan Hoekstra currently serves as a Board Vice President on the Hawarden Regional Healthcare Board of Directors and is an active member in the community. Stan’s community involvement includes Sioux County Conservation foundation board, hospital joint venture board, and hospital foundation board. Stan is the Assistant Vice President at Iowa State Bank in Ireton.
Stan is an active resident of Hawarden and in his free time, Stan enjoys spending his time golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, daughters, granddaughters and grandson.

Denny Hulshof currently serves as Board Secretary on the Hawarden Regional Healthcare Board of Directors and is actively involved in the community. Denny is a member of the Ireton Rescue Squad and volunteers by keeping statistics and announcing numerous West Sioux school events. Denny works on his family farm with his brother.
Denny is a life-long resident of Ireton. Denny and his wife Mindi stay active raising their two children Molly and Kenny. In his free time, Denny enjoys spending time golfing and camping with his family.

Israel Curiel currently serves as a Director for the Hawarden Regional Healthcare Board. Israel is the owner of Curiel Concrete in Hawarden, IA. In his free time, Israel enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his family.

Emma Bouza currently serves as a Director for the Hawarden Regional Healthcare Board. She is an active advocate for disability awareness at the state and national levels. Emma currently serves as the Chair of the Iowa Early Access Council and also serves on their Family Engagement Team. In addition, Emma is involved in the Iowa Child Health Specialty Clinic Advisory Council as a Parent Advocate and mentors' trainees for the Iowa Family Leadership Training Institute. She is a parent mentor for ASK Resource Center. She has also participated in the South Dakota LEND Program and volunteers nationally at the NDSC Annual Down Syndrome Conference and locally for the West Sioux Special Olympics program.
Emma and her husband, Ben, enjoy spending time with family and cheering on the West Sioux Falcons, where they are both employed, along with daughters Norah and Ruby.
