Meet Amy Waterman

Amy Waterman, CNP began practicing in Hawarden in December 2020. Amy started her nursing career in 1999 on a medical surgical unit in Kansas. After moving home to Hawarden she has worked at the Hawarden Hospital as an RN, Tyson Foods as a occupational health nurse, and in an ICU in Sioux City. After obtaining a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from South Dakota State University she worked three years at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center in the emergency room and clinics.  She is excited to return to her hometown community and provide exceptional health care.

Amy is married to Travis Waterman and has four children: Tristan, Emma, Raelyn, and Thane.

Amy enjoys spending time with my family, traveling, and outdoor activities.
