Meet Jenna Weyen

Jenna Weyen, ARNP began practicing in the Ireton Clinic in August 2022. Prior to working as a nurse practitioner at Hawarden Regional Healthcare, Jenna worked as an RN health coach in our Hawarden clinic and RN in urgent care, outpatient services, medical surgical unit, and the emergency department.

Prior to receiving her accelerated nursing degree from USF, Jenna obtained a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and minor in Biology. Previously working in an anatomic pathology lab, Jenna made the decision to return to nursing as she missed patient interactions and caring for patients.

Jenna received her family nurse practitioner degree from Briar Cliff University in May 2022. Jenna completed many hours of her clinical rotations in Ireton with Cindi Rule and has become well acquainted to the community. She is excited to continue practicing and caring for patients close to home.

Jenna is married to Eric Weyen, and they have two daughters, Adaline Ellen and Davy Kay and a special dog named Xander.

Jenna enjoys spending much of her time outside of work with her family, hiking, watching her niece and nephew’s extra-curricular activities, or just spending time outdoors.
